Goldbug Revival is what happens when Bluegrass Multi-instrumentalists, Avant Garde Percussionists, Indie Rockers, and Jazz Cats coalesce into a band committed to their shared love of creating new and authentic Americana and Bluegrass music. Their unique Award Winning Songwriting reflects their collective deep-read into all the chapters of the American Songbook.
Based out of Washington DC, members have performed with Grammy winning and Hall-of-Fame artists, toured internationally and played many local DMV venues including the Kennedy Center, AMP at Strathmore, Hank Dietles, Lucketts, Earps Ordinary and New Deal Cafe.
Their debut album is a collection of 14 songs that effortlessly blend novel-worthy stories, Dylanesque poetry, evocative melodies, and carefully considered musicianship. A new gathering tent has been raised with stakes driven deep into the Americana Frontier. Come one, come all. It’s Night One of the Goldbug Revival!

Geraldine is “Good Time Old Time” - a stringband blending elements of old-time, American Folk, bluegrass, and alt-country. As stewards of Appalachian motifs in a modern framework, they blend banjo, mandolin, guitar, fiddle, and bass with lush four-part harmonies in a free-wheeling repertoire of both rare and wonderful gems from the past and original songs. Geraldine released their debut album, Harvester, in November 2019, (which garnered four national awards for songwriting), and the highly anticipated sophomore release Paw Paw in May 2023 (which garnered another 4 national songwriting awards).
Noted for award-winning songwriting and their unique take on original folk, bluegrass and old time music, Geraldine has gained a following in the Baltimore/DC metro area since forming in 2018. Notable shows by the band include multiple years at Baltimore’s Charm City Bluegrass Festival, serving as the house band at the Annapolis Baygrass Music Festival (and authoring the festival song), and playing as the house band for Baltimore’s Crankie Festival, and headlining the Savage Mill Bluegrass Festival.
